How the Plugin Works
The plugin sends a lightweight status update (called a "heartbeat") to Hytale.Global every 45 seconds. This includes your current player count, maximum slots, and online status. Because the plugin only sends outbound requests to our API, there's minimal security impact—your server initiates all communication, and no inbound connections are required for the stats feature.
Votifier Integration for Vote Rewards
Want to reward players who vote for your server? The Hytale.Global Plugin includes full Votifier support with industry-standard RSA-2048 encryption. When a player votes on Hytale.Global, we send an encrypted notification to your server containing the voter's username and timestamp.
Votifier Port Requirements
To receive vote notifications, your server needs to have a Votifier port open (typically port 8192). This is the standard Votifier protocol used by all major server listing sites. You'll need to:
- Configure your firewall to allow inbound connections on your Votifier port
- Set up your Votifier public key in your Hytale.Global dashboard
- Configure a vote reward plugin (like VotingPlugin or SuperbVote) to handle incoming votes
The RSA encryption ensures that vote notifications cannot be spoofed—only Hytale.Global can send valid votes that your server will accept.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Setting up the Hytale.Global Plugin takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 2: Install the Plugin
Place the downloaded .jar file into your server's plugins folder. This is the same folder where you install any other server plugins.

Restart your Hytale server completely. The plugin will generate its configuration files on first startup.
Step 4: Get Your API Key
